Halloween Near Arnold, CA

October brings a little extra magic to a cabin getaway: crisp mornings, costumes packed beside walking boots, and Gold Country towns preparing for Halloween. Looking ahead to October 24–25, here are four ways to add a festive outing to your stay at Cabin Under the Trees in Camp Connell.
All Hallows Faire: A Weekend of Fantasy in Angels Camp
On October 24–25, the Calaveras County Fairgrounds will host the All Hallows Faire, bringing live music, Renaissance-style stage shows and a world of mythical characters to Angels Camp. Dress up, explore the stalls and make a day of the spectacle. Some costumes and performances may feel intense for younger children, so choose your activities to suit your group. See GoCalaveras’ All Hallows Faire listing and the organiser’s programme and tickets.
Indigeny Reserve Fall Festival: Orchard Days and Autumn Flavours
For an easygoing autumn afternoon, head to Indigeny Reserve near Sonora. Its Fall Festival continues October 24–25 with live music from noon to 3 p.m., free children’s activities, more than 35 craft vendors, food trucks and a cider release. Browse for something handmade, find lunch and enjoy a slower day together. Explore Indigeny’s Fall Festival calendar.
Sonora’s Trick-or-Treat Street: Costumes on Main Street
Downtown Sonora’s participating businesses will welcome little trick-or-treaters on Saturday, October 24, from 4–5:30 p.m. Bring the costumes and candy bags, then stop by Spookytown at Courthouse Park for face painting and children’s games. It’s a lovely excuse to explore the historic downtown with a festive mission. See the Visit Tuolumne County events calendar for current local details.
Boo Boulevard: Halloween in Historic Columbia
Columbia State Historic Park will turn Main Street into Boo Boulevard on Saturday, October 24, from 2–5 p.m. This free event includes a Halloween parade, trick-or-treating, crafts, carnival games, face painting and a costume contest. There’s also a zombie flash mob and a Bigfoot photo opportunity—worth keeping in mind if your youngest visitors prefer their Halloween gently spooky. Arrive by 2 p.m. for the parade gathering and check the organiser’s latest timetable. Plan your Boo Boulevard visit.
Finish With a Cosy Cabin Evening
Pick one or two favourites rather than racing between every event. There’s plenty of pleasure in coming back to the trees, sorting the day’s treats and settling beside the wood-burning stove. A little Halloween adventure, a little mountain quiet: October at the cabin has room for both.
Check organiser pages for the latest schedules, tickets and any changes before setting out.
